Biography
Richard Page is a photographer based in the South of England. He received the Jerwood Photography Award and the Urbanautica Award for Visual Anthropology. Employing a variety of approaches, his work considers place, landscape and documentary storytelling. Richard has exhibited widely thoughout the UK and abroad, including shows in London, Cardiff and Germany. His photobook What We Already Know was published by Ffotogallery coinciding with a solo exhibition in 2007. He is the curator of Paper Geographies, with shows at the Arles Photography Festival, France (2022) and Format Photography Festival in Derby (2023). His work was included in JAP Alexander's Perspectives on Place (2015) and has been published in Portfolio magazine, the Guardian, Source, Art Review, Artists Newsletter and Royal Academy magazines. Richard has taught photography in universities across the UK, and is currently the deputy Head of Media Production department at Bournemouth University.
